Bridegroom, King and Judge

Giclee prints

Bridegroom, King and Judge
To Know this MAN JESUS there is no greater JOY!!!
He is coming back!
He will Judge wickedness, He will set up His kingdom, and
He's coming for His bride!

As I began this piece I had just been to the hospital to see a dear young mom who had just lost her baby and who herself was extremely ill.
I got home and just had a longing to paint. I had a grandson on his way here, due in just a few months. I have done paintings for each of my grand-babies. This night I filled a pallet with color and asked God, what are we doing tonight?
I really was not sure what I was about to get to paint!
I began with the dark square on the lower right side. An image almost immediately was formed in the dark area. Like one crying out declaring out of the darkness. Then I stood back and ask, “what’s next”? I sensed a white line that was above the dark and running to the left then arched up. I stood back and saw a
“prayer shawl”! I began to realize I was painting Jesus, MY HIGH PRIEST!. As I laid in color and features. The passage from Revelation 1 that describes Jesus’ eyes, “they are as flames of fire”, then “He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah” rang in my heart. I inquired of the Lord again, “How do I paint these beautiful eyes?” Lions eyes on a mans face? How? I simply sensed, “ just start, do it”. I did and He walked me through each feature.
When you look into Jesus eyes you will see one side is Jesus the Judge and the other side you will see Jesus the king the Bridegroom. I discovered His expression as I painted. The eyebrows, the difference in His eyes were painted then I discovered their expression!
O, how I LOVE this Man Jesus!!!!!
Once I began painting I could hardly stop!
Then the background. Once again I inquired of the Lord, “What colors and shapes” He pointed out the colors of glory and fire and I took a brush and dove into the paint. Worshiping and painting. I began to see that Jesus’ right arm was stretched out and His blood flowed. A few days after the piece was complete, I looked and I discovered and face Behind Jesus’ right arm, it was wicked looking and I wanted to take it out. I began to ask Jesus about what to do. Then He reminded me “that image is being held back by My mighty right arm.”
Oh…..I LOVE THIS MAN JESUS!!!!
What an honor to get to paint this piece!
He is coming back!!! HE IS A BRIDEGROOM,
THE ONLY TRUE KING AND A JUDGE!!
