Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."One day as I was asking the Lord about a word. I didn't have any "perimeters" on that word. I just wanted to hear from Him. I began to see this image of a mans face "peering". It was just his profile with a deep red behind him and "something" in front if him. I began to inquire of the Lord to talk to me about this image. I began to sketch on canvas then to paint still unsure about the details of this mans face. I began to look for a model from my photos. I found my oldest sons picture and the profile was just right. I didn't intend to do a painting of him. Once I got the proportions right. I tried to change it from looking just like my son. I added a beard and mustache, I painted his hair longer. I did things that should have changed the profile, BUT it still looked just like him. I asked the Lord about it and the next thing I heard in my spirit were the words, "REVELATION FOR MY LEVITE" I stopped trying to change the painting!! It was suppose to look like my son. He is a Levite, a priest unto the Lord. He was just about to graduate from IHOPs' FSM. This was his graduation present.
I pray that as you peer into this piece that God reveals to you deep and mysterious things about His heart to yours!
