"HE LOOKED DOWN..." PSALM 102

"This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. For He hath looked down from His height of His sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death; That men may declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and praise Him in Jerusalem."
Psalm 102:18-21

The Lord had shown me this vision and I painted what I saw. For over a year I had no revelation of exactly what it meant. I liked it and I knew it was Jesus looking at the earth but it did not all come together until one day I read Psalm 102:18-21 and the words seemed to leap off the page. This is passage is the vision the Lord had shown me! I was humbled and ignited to intercession!
I pray the name of the Lord be praised in Zion , that Jerusalem will praise Him!!

Praise be to God, Praise be to Yeshua, Praise be to our God creator of ALL that has been created!! I WILL PRAISE HIM WITH MY WHOLE BEING!!!!!

Something that has begun to happen in my painting right now is that WORDS begin to show up in pieces. Ones that I am not aware of until well after the piece is finished. TODAY almost three week since it's completion I looked and beside the Lion close to the frame in the flames between the mane and the frame is the word GOD. Click on the painting and it will show you a close up and I believe you will see it and maybe even more! God is so awesome!!! I LOVE HIM!!

The prophets Joel and Zephaniah write of THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD, As I have sat with the Lord asking Him about this "day" and about issues of life and longing to love what He loves and to hate what He hates. Asking Him to reveal to my heart what His heart feels, images began to run through my mind. Colors that have no description, sounds that I've never really heard before. Flashes of light sounds of swords being drawn and clashes of metal as they hit. Then this roar, this deep sound filled with power and authority begins to resound in my heart. Then eyes whose light can not be contained. And a mane that is rich and alive. As He roars His mane moves in one direction as His head moves in the other. The longer I watched, this painting began to evolve. A frame of deep cadmium red and burnt sienna with strokes of turquoise and gold. Embossed leaves in the corners and fighting swords in position on each side. Their handles come out past the boundary on the frame into the painting. The lions mane is alive with movement and is swung outside the confines of the red frame. The Lord strong and mighty He can NOT be contained!! If you Know Him it is a GREAT DAY if you do NOT KNOW HIM IT IS TERRIBLE. In the background are seven lamps whose core are as blades of swords that have been sitting in the fire of the Lord. These represent the lamps that are before Gods throne. The sky is alive with light bursting forth and the foreground is hot with purifying flames. Colors full of energy.
This captures my heart!

My Lover! Look!
He's COMING!!"

Jesus is our Bridegroom and we, as believers in Jesus Christ as Gods son and our Savior, are His Bride. He is in Love with us and is going to come back to earth one day to set up His Kingdom. You can read this all through the scriptures. He delights in His bride, with shouts of joy He rejoices over us. He longs for us to be in love with Him. These were the thoughts that ran through my heart as I painted this piece. As I began to focus on His eyes I could sense in my spirit that He was saying , "My eyes, they're brighter than that", I would add more light until finally they were right. His eyes glow with glory the glow of a Bridegroom coming to the one He loves!

This is a painting that was birthed out of a time of praying into Zech 6:1-8, and Rev. 6 and 7 .
As I finished the piece and was asking the Lord for the name of this painting a word came on a email publication I receive and as I read it I realized it described what was on my heart as I painted. Below you will find this word from the Elijahlist.
"He will cause His voice of authority to be heard from the north to the south, to the east and to the west. And He will visit His people yet again. Prepare, the day is arriving; prepare the hour is upon thee; the travails and the birth pangs of this last season are coming to an end and the afterbirth is being taken off of you.

For God is making of you a new thing, and God is doing a new thing in the earth, and there will be a fresh cry of revival. There will be a fresh cry of renewal. There will be a fresh cry of restoration, and there will be a fresh cry of proclamation. And because of that, the saints will lift their voice in unabashed, unashamed praise--for the sound of praise will be greater than you have ever heard it in any other day in your life. The sound of thunder will not only be from Heaven, but there shall be a thunder come from the spirit of the saints, as they are set free."

"AWAKENING TREE"

" At least there is hope for a tree:If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the first scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant."
JOB 14: 7-9 was my inspiration for this painting.I began to pray I want to be like a tree whose roots go down deep in Gods' love. That I would be continually sensitive to the scent of water, a spring of living water causing the leaves to flourish and new shoots to bud.

Then as I was listening to praise and worship music and thanking God for all that He was doing, words began to appear in this piece! I stood back and saw the word "SEER" clearly in the center and then I saw "EAR" on the right just below the leaves. Everytime someone peers into this piece new things and words are discovered. God reveals His mysteries in interesting ways!!!

"BE HEALED"

By His wounds, His stripes we are HEALED! The purpose of Jesus wounds from the stripes of the whipping were for the purpose of OUR healing. THAT IS AN INCREDIBLE GIFT! The stripes on the sides and the rough cross in the center represents that act of love. The 12 colors of the background are the twelve foundations of the New Jerusalem when Jesus comes back and sets up His kingdom here on earth. John writes about this place in Revelation 21:15-20. At the top there are the leaves of a full tree. They are the leaves of the trees that are written about in Ezekial 47:12 and Revelation 22:2. They are for the healing of the nations.
