2 WINGS to SOAR
Revelation12:14
As I began this piece all I knew was that I kept being drawn to paint two wings simultaneously. Then as I searched big birds I came across a Sterns Eagle and I loved his wings! I began to paint and the more I painted the more I sensed colors almost like ribbons coming off the tips of his feathers, iridescent, and gold, silver, and bronze. As I painted I found myself asking the Lord about these wings and scriptures of wings would come to mind but I felt there was more to what I was painting than “just” wings. As I finished the piece I still didn’t have my answer about why wings. The next morning I was having my time with the Lord and I began to read Revelation 12 and as I came to verse 14 I suddenly understood why I had painted two wings;
“The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.” Rev. 12:14

EYES AND ATTITUDE THAT SAY…
“NOT ON MY WATCH!”
As I started this piece I only knew it was to be an eagle FULL of feathers and color. His eyes prominent and intense, his head tilted to make your head tilt, listening for something very critical…..
“Righteousness and Justice” were words that began to ring in my spirit as I would turn my head and look into this piece of art.
His eyes, so serious that my eyebrows would begin to furrow into an intense gaze.
I began to search out an understanding of Eagles in Gods word and what the Lord says about “RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE”.
This is what I’ve found so far………
Righteousness and Justice are the foundations of Gods throne.
In them He judges and it is in His KINDNESS that He brings us to repentance. Nothing in all of creation is hidden from Him. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before His eyes. He is rich in kindness.
For the word of the Lord is right and true;
He is faithful in all he does.
The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of His unfailing love. (Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for it is to you I lift up my soul. ... )
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made,
Their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;
He puts the deep into storehouses.
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.
As I looked into Eagles I found…….They symbolize the spiritual man, a prophet, strength, Israel, swift, heavenly resting place, lifted by the spirit, instrument of judgment, Warring Angel

I LOVE THIS PIECE!!!
When you stand in front of this 4ft by 4ft piece it's like you can feel the tossing of His mane in the beat with the worship that surrounds the throne in heaven!! We get to hear and feel the beat of his magnificent heart!!!
This truly IS one of my favorites!! I have a new grandbaby and "ADORATION and DELIGHT " is her painting. I LOVE how when you stand in front of this painting it's like you can feel not only the tossing of His mane but also this sweet fragrance begins to arise!!! I am soooo excited to meet this little one!!! The Lords given me paintings for each of my grandbabies and they each capture their personalities. I LOVE HOW GOD has DONE THAT! He is sooooo much fun to paint with!! ENJOY!!!

“As I stared at a blank canvas I felt the warmth of a “GAZE” watching me! It was one of those that causes you to take a deep breath and relax and tremble all at the same time.
I began to prime the 30x40 canvas in black still not sure what was going on the canvas......... I began working on another piece and had some extra blue paint. I took my largest pallet knife picked up the paint. I felt like I had a sword in my had and I swiped it across this black surface. Some how in that move I suddenly knew this piece was special! I began to realize it was HOPE about to be portrayed “The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Rev. 5:5 and Isaiah 11:2 portrayed on canvas.”
His face glows with LIGHT reflecting every angle of His features! His face is painted almost entirely in metallic paints. The light moves as you step around the piece. His eyes watch your steps releasing HOPE....

Lion of Judah: The Kings rest
This piece came as I was at the end of a season of tribulations. The summer of 2011 a time of extreme heat, shakings and shiftings on seemingly every level. Uncertainties around every corner. Grasping for truth to focus on and throughout the season a steady voice of PUT YOUR EYES ON ME!!! I AM TRUTH!! I AM TRUE TO MY WORD TO WHO I AM!!! Put your eyes on me and let Me guide you with My eyes!!
The Lion of the tribe of Judah has TRIUMPHED!!! Jesus, He is the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. I feel Him calling His people to war in the REST of trusting His word!! Walking and reacting in that truth! Gods word is ALIVE and active sharper than any two edged sword!!!
Set your eye on the King and find your REST in His word, in WHO HE IS!!!!

Come and Sit......
THE CHAIR
This is a painting that was created during a free to create workshop. The question we had before the Lord was, " What does Your Love to me look like?" As I soaked colors began to become vivid to me and then after just soaking in these rich color I began to see a simple chair. I got up and began the process of layer upon layer creating the layers of color I had been in. I stood back and realized there was no room for the "chair" I began asking the Lord where it was suppose to be. As I painted the edges of the piece I turned it over and there was the perfect place for my chair just to sit and be still . I asked the Lord for the colors of the chair and gently He showed me the lavender and glass green. I felt something blowing over the chair. after I had finished painting that night I set up the piece and suddenly I began to see eyes and a nose looking at the chair/ at me through the colors!! The next time I was able to paint I began to pull out the image and realized it was a lions nose and the eyes of a lamb blowing over me. I felt the Lord saying slow down and just sit with Me let Me blow over you. I was falling in love with what I was feeling. I completed the mane , or I thought I was painting a mane. Stood back and looked and found a mans face looking at the chair, then a eagle and several other images. I am amazed at what Holy Spirit created in this piece and I'm not real sure what they all mean. I would love to hear your thoughts.
It is very interesting to look at the piece and the meaning of the colors. After the piece was completed I looked the colors up and I was amazed!!

This piece was created one night when a group met for a free to create workshop night. The question the Lord had before us was simply a request for a gift. We ask the Lord to give each of us a gift. I found myself energized as I soaked in worship music. I began to prepare my palette and instead of a brush I picked up one of my largest palette knives. I felt like I had a sword in my had as I picked up paint and applied it to the canvas. It had an unusually LOUD sound as it hit the canvas. I felt so much energy as I painted. The canvas had a stretcher bar right through the center. I kept running into it with my "sword". At first it bothered me then I stepped back and realized a "sword" image was taking form as my "sword/ palette knife" would hit the bar. I felt the urge to "go for it" allow the sword to be suggested. The piece was complete in about an hour and I felt the Lords joy as I stood back and just absorbed what had just been created!! I love the gifts God gives!!!! That night I feel like the Lord gave me a gift of His faithfulness to His promises and that He was calling me to say the AMEN to those promises, to bring HIm glory!
God is soooo faithful, TRUST HIM!

Invitation Extended
Invitation Extended
This piece began at the sunrise service this past Easter morning
(4-24-11).
It was a cloudy morning with a hope for needed rain in the air. You could even feel a light mist as we sat in the morning. I closed my eyes meditating on what Lord was wanting to show me, I began to see these two blue wings of a butterfly, but only the bottom half of the wings. Between the wings where the stairs that led up to what looked like a tunnel of light that was drawing us into it’s presence, into to HOPE into true LIGHT. Colors and light radiated from that opening. The painting, “invitation extended” is how the Lord helped me express what He showed me. Interesting, when you look closely you can see horses on the viewers right side under the wave and other images on the left along with the birds. There’s more to this piece that I have yet to discover .

“ I love it and it speaks loudly to my soul the stairway to heaven the "red sea" parted by the pure blood of Christ. I imagine the lambs book of life at the top of the stairs all can look in however if we do not accept the invitation. "RSVP" our name will not be in that book and we will be turned away ! I see something else but not willing to put it in writing. We will talk together about it.”
When we talked later she told me , “ I see a bowl of fire that represents hell. She said , “satan works hard at convincing people that death is just a peaceful end ending in eternal sleep! He was kicked out of heaven never to be allowed to return. He doesn’t want anyone else to get in!”
Her response amazed me and blessed me. I love what she saw and heard!
This is what I know about the piece right now. I love the revelation God brings through different viewers!

Pentecost: Wind of the Spirit
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:1-4
For weeks, as I worshiped or prayed, I would see a narrow door white, open and light all around. Then as I would listen and enter into songs of worship my heart would be over whelmed with AWE and LOVE for my God and this MAN, Gods son JESUS!! I would feel, what was like, a strong wind and it would push me back. Other times I would feel encircled by a gentle wind and a light of revelation. A indescribable LOVE would swirl around me and I would have to be still and just soak in the tenderness of my God. Then there were those times I would be on my face overwhelmed by the whole experience.
I knew what I was sensing and feeling needed to be expressed on canvas!
I purchased the canvas and waited ………………………… watching for that time set apart to paint what I was experiencing. When the day came this painting quickly took shape. I am still discovering hidden images as I peer into this work.
I LOVE painting with the Holy Spirit!!!
